Q: How long does the chlorine filter last?

A: It all depends on water quality. We recommend to change the filter once the CaSO3 is in about 50% or when it changes color to brown. Usually happens in 8-12 months, but filter can last up to 2 years.

Q: How much does the replacement chlorine filter cost?

A: Price for replacement is $19.-

Q: How long does the silver foam lasts in the shower and/or humidifier? How much does the replacement cost?

A: 3-5 years, depending on usage. Replacement silverfoam is $29.-

Q: Why is the Silverex shower head better than the other shower heads on the market?

A: Silverex shower head uses combination of two benefits. First, it removes chlorine, which is known for aging, drying, and damaging skin, plus it badly affects your inhalary system, lungs, and other important body parts. Second, it is using a patented technology called silverfoam, creating a silver ionic enviroment which prevents a bacterial build up inside the shower head, thus preventing bacterial threat on you and your family. Q: Why is the shower head all plastic?

A: Silverex showerhead is made of bulletproof PC material. Plastic prevents all the parts from corrosion and more bacterial build up. Also, you can see the chlorine filter and silver foam usage. It is a more expensive material than chrome plated ABS.
