It is the longest lasting chlorine removing filter on the market, lasting from 8-24 months, depending on water quality and usage.
Once the CaSO3 (Calcium Sulfate) reaches about 50% of its amount, it should be replaced. Also, if a lot of chlorine and rust from pipes occur, it might change to brownish color, then it is recommended to replace it.
